CsHsNO Major resonance structure Minor resonance structure Non-contributing resonance structure

In the major resonance structure, the negative charge in on the more electronegative oxygen atom.

In the minor resonance structure, the negative charge is on the less electronegative nitrogen atom.

In the bad or non-contributing resonance structure, the positive charge in on the more electronegative oxygen atom and the negative charges are on less electronegative nitrogen and carbon atoms. There is also the separation of charges.
