1) Brief information about the Huawei and Samsung in the global market (and if possible Turkish market as well).
2)Brief information about the Huawei's and Samsung's marketing strategies.
Answer 1:- Samsung has been a leader in the global market since
quite a few years. It is the leading mobile brand previously
followed by Apple and then others. But recently in a couple of
years Huawei a china based company has been increasing its market
share and has already replaced Apple from the second position. If
the example of mobile is taken the market share of samsung and
Huawei in Q3 2017 was approx 22% and 9% respectively whereas within
a year i.e., in 2018 Q3, share of samsung has reduced to 18% and
share of Huawei is increased to 13%.
The scale of decrease in market share between the two giants in
such a short span is amazing. The reason can be a fresh approach of
Huawei and different products in price ranges offered. Marketing
strategy is also a major reason.
