Readings, write a thorough, well-planned narrative answer to Discussion Question 1 (50 points) You are the chief of police for the City of Atlantis. Two months ago, an unarmed black man was shot and killed by one of your department's officers. The officer has been placed on paid leave, pending a full investigation. Since that time, peaceful protests have been taking place in Atlantis just outside City Hall. The police have been monitoring the protests but have not interfered. The protesters are mostly black, but white and Hispanics have joined in as well. All three groups claim the police use deadly force too readily. The mayor is concerned because the incident has made national news. He has asked you to put together a task force and come up with some ideas for improving relations between police and the communities they serve. The mayor has asked that the recommendations take the form of a booklet that can be used for training purposes. What will your booklet say? (50 points) (A 2-page response is required.)

If I would have to design a book then I would add several points in it regarding the improvement of relationship between police and communities:-

1.From the training period police officers must be given right training.

2.Instead of being superior maintain a healthy relationship with the people of that locality.

3. People should know that police us for them not against them.

4.We should be the saver not the destroyer.

5.we should have a polite behaviour with the civilians.

6.we should understand the difference of the civilians and the criminals.

7.justice

8.Investigation should be proper.

9.Don't shoot untill and unless it is required.

10.Serve for the people to the people.

11.Make citizens secure about their security.

12.Ask people to be an eyewitness rather then forcing it fir such.

13.Life of a person is very important.

14.Don't take lives of innocent people and citizens.

15.The citizens should be comfortable in front of police .

16.Comfortable means they should be afraid but not much that they won't say anything.
