When the halides undergo elimination reaction , the major product formed is an alkene. The halides lose the halogen atoms from their alpha carbon and hydrogen from their beta carbon to form a double bond between these two carbon atoms.

So here , the major product formed will be :

CH CAl 3 C = CH-CH 2-CH-C. CH/ CH
