Solution :-

Following image shows the reaction of the triolein with the methanol + NaOH reagent.

methanol and NaOH produces the methoxide ion which is then acts as nulceophile and reacts with the glyceride triolein and produces glycerol and 3 moles of long chain methoxy ester of the fatty acid in the triolein.

NaOH + CH3OH ---- > CH3ONa + H2O
