Terrestrial microwave links:
Attenuation:
Which frequency would, in theory, be affected more by heavy rain:
Terrestrial microwave links:
a. One major issue in signal transmission is problem of attenuation i.e. loss of signal strength as it covers more and more distance. To cope up with problem of attenuation, repeater is used which again improves the signal strength and output the signal with appropriate strength.
b. Repeater although improve signal strength, but disadvantage of using a wireless repeater is that the bandwidth of any computers connected to it get halves because of the time taken by repeater in receiving the signal, processing it, and then rebroadcasting it.
Attenuation:
a. Frequency 80 GHz will suffer more from heavy rain.
b. This is because Rain attenuation is major problem in microwave satellite communication specially for the frequency above 10 GHz and hence frequency 80 GHz will more suffer from Rain attenuation.
Please comment for any clarification.

identify and analyze the main issue(s) of the case study (often there is more than one). What is occurring? Why is it occurring? Why is it an impact to the business? In an interview with CNBC, when asked about being a niche business, Kevin Plank explained, “Our goal in what we are doing.. .It’s Under Armour; it’s this idea of performance versus a basic product.. .It’s a movement towards people building and buying a better product.” In 2008, Kevin Plank...
