1. Ans: The following are the symmetrical features established while creating a pulley design

• While making a sketch the cross-sectional sketch for the pulley is symmetric about the horizontal (i.e., the projected) x-axis.
• The back surface of the first revolved feature was selected as a plane of symmetry for a mirror operation.
• The Circular Pattern command was used to create the rotationally-symmetric configuration consisting of five holes.

2. Advantages of drawing template:

• Availability of templates reduces the effort and time to create a new drawing. It acts as efficient in time management.
• With the available template and making few modifications we can generate a complete new drawing with required specifications.
• However any drawing can be saved as a template an endless variety of objects can be created with this.

3. The mirror feature command creates reverse copy of an object in the AutoCAD.

• Click on the Mirror Button
• Select the object for which you want mirror object
• Specify the start of the mirror line either by using a point or taking the coordinates.
• Finally finish the mirror.

4. To reduce the work and time and making the best drawing , If we identify the symmetrical features in the drawing with help of mirror option we can develop the remaining.
