A map of election results represent provides election updates and counting of votes in an interactive map format. It is used to record information about the number of seats in each state of the US and communicate the information to the public. Here is an example of the graph:

NH 4 9 VT 35 4 4 12 45 MA 16 4 20 RI 4 32 10 6 3 27 13 25 NJ 16 DE 3 MD 9 6 1012 14 32 13 4 1 12 Kennedy Nixon 10 24 Byrd

It tells us about with how many seats each party is leading in which state. Hence, this visual representation is a type of communicate/record representation.
