Answer: Climate change leads to undernutrition or food insecurity as :

  1. The climate change causes increase in the temperature. The increased temperature causes decrease in the production of the agriculture. Hence causes food insecurity.
  2. The decrease production due to climate change causes low availability of the foods to the people and hence this causes malnutrition in many of the people.
  3. Thr climate change also causes decrease in the nutrients value of the products such as excess rainfall causes increase moisture content in the atmosphere which spoil the foods. Hence decreases the nutritional value.
  4. Due to low production there will be problem for the low socioeconomic people to avail better foods. Hence undernutrition situation occurs.
