Nutritional deficiencies can lead to enlarged liver called HEPATOMAGALY.hepatomagaly sometimes can't be reversed.some vitamin deficiency can cause liver enlargement.these are-

Vitamin a may lower the iron levels in the body.this can to anemia.

Vitamim d helps in calcium absorption that gives bone strength.so vit d deficiency can decrease the calcium absorption in the body that can lead to weaker and fragile bones named ricket in children and osteomalacia in adults.

Vitamin e helps in blood clotting.but excess dose of vitamin e can make the blood thinner and causes bleeding.

Vit b 12 should also be taken in proper quantity for chronic liver patient.

For diagnosis of hepatomagaly x rays,mri,ct scan of liver can be done.with those tests enlargement of liver can be seen.

After diagnosis treatment should be started immediately to make it reverse.diet management is also very important for liver patients.
