The main reason for using lead for long period is because of its malleable property made it a chief metal on all industry to make their items, goods or products.

Some of the ways the lead can enter the environment are

  • Through I disrespected products and wastes
  • Improper disposal of electronic wastes or e-wastes
  • Through stationary products like pencil
  • Through interior design or infrastructure construction using paints containing lead
  • Through pollution oh burning coal

Lead can affect an individual from causing mild gastrointestinal complaint to severe neurological problems and can even cost the life of a person.

Some of the ways the lead can enter body is by inhalation or by ingestion of the lead containing materials

Some of the ways to reduce the effect of lead are

  • Creative g awareness
  • Strictly prohibiting addition of lead in potable water
  • Proper disposal of electronic wastes
  • Avoiding lead paints
  • Screen high risk children periodically
