This 10-year-old male patient is a type 1 diabetic. He was admitted from the emergency room because he was in a coma with ketoacidosis. During his hospitalization his insulin levels were adjusted and he is stabilized at this time. He was instructed to follow up with me in the office in 1 week or sooner if needed.
