Answer #1

Answer 1. Holistic approach is using the method of treating patients with different method other than medicine only. Here nurses combine healing techniques with traditional medicine and use aromatherapy, acupuncture, massage, hydrotherapy, etc to treat the patient who are tired of using traditional methods for long time. This treatment also includes exercise, dietary changes, reflexology, homeopathy, etc to ease the treatment for the patient in chronic diseases. This treatment allows the patients to heal by altering lifestyle choices and increasing their beliefs into their treatment. Nurses are also made fully aware of a patient's struggles and strengths, whether a child or an adult, to help the patient cope, adapt and recover.

Answer 2. While considering the patient's specific character of disease, it is mandatory to start the treatment with clear physical checkup including checking his/her vital signs, radial pulse, BP, temperature, respiratory ease and history. The patient is also checked for alertness, orientation, no respiratory difficulty, any complaints of pain, skin texture and color to be good, etc. Such assessments make it clear for the nurses to treat the patient further and plan the care treatment. All these aspects are important to be checked initially as they don't interfere later on in the treatment plans.

Answer 3. In nursing care plans many aspects are considered to plan out the treatment plan like: Problem focused diagnosis, risk diagnosis, health promotion diagnosis and syndrome diagnosis. As a nurse all the aspects should be considered for the betterment of the patient. but among all of them, problem focused diagnosis should be done at the earliest because when the basic is clear that what is to be treated exactly no other extra diagnosis are required. So, firstly and mainly basic problem should be diagnosed.

Answer 4. Short term patient care plan are must to be plan in which the client's own values, beliefs and aspirations are recognized and valued. This will help the patient in good rehabilitation along with taking care of his/her emotional needs by focusing more on their strengths rather than the problems. A multidisciplinary team is aligned to plan the treatment with a progress chart. Such practices are based on routine work with both the clients and practitioners and then they are expected to work together within rigid boundaries so as to get the results in shortest time span.
