She receives a stool softener, a sleeping pill, and a pain pill for her arthritis. lately, she has been awakening at least twice each night, seeming quite confused. She tells the day shift nurse that she needs another sleeping pill at bedtime because "I'm not sleeping as well as I used to because I have to get up so many times to go to the bathroom. she also seems sluggish than usual during the day.
