Because the disease need to be screened to know the impact on the community and particular population. And when the results is obtained, the patients with positive results can be treated as well as these screening will lead to know about the diseases because many of the people are unaware about the sexually transmitted disease.

The test should be performed on the particular population who are more prone to the sexually transmitted disease, the proper consent should be done before performing the screening. The patient with positive results should be provided with proper treatment and privacy should be confined.
