A number of studies have investigated laryngeal articulation in the production of voiceless consonant clusters in order to study Co-articulation patterns at laryngeal level. The first main objective of these works is to compare laryngeal adjustments observed in voiceless singleton obstruent’s with those attested in consonant clusters. A second objective is to understand the way laryngeal adjustments are coordinated with supralaryngeal events in complex events in complex sequences and the mechanisms which might determine the number, the amplitude and glottal opening gestures.
