Amount of drug is 1gm = 1000 mg

Infusion time = 60 mins is equal to 1 hr

The infusion rate of the infusion pump set by the nurse will be = Total volume of solution in ml / Total time in hour

= 80 ml/ 1hr

= 80 ml/hr will be the rate of infusion
