The importance of using technologies such as e-learning in different disciplines is emphasized in the literature. Researchers have measured the effectiveness of e-learning in a number of fields.

There is a lack of research on the effectiveness of online learning in education. The advantages of these learning methods and the positive university atmosphere in the use of online learning, aims to compare, the effects of two methods of teaching. The newly designed virtual learning package is feasible and will result in more effective learning in comparison with lecture-based training.

The conventional method was a lecture-based course that included sessions taught by a Professor. In this course, the sequence of PowerPoint slides and video were shown in the same order as the virtual learning method.

The learning objectives are designed as the conventional method, with the exception of the teaching method. The design of virtual learning environment, included all corresponding flexibilities and user friendliness enriched with multimedia, as well as interactions among the lecturer.

Traditional method of teaching is when a teacher directs students to learn through memorization and recitation techniques thereby not developing their thinking problem solving and decision making skills, while modern approach to teaching involves a more interacting with the student.

A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning. These strategies are determined on subject matter to be taught and by the nature of the learner. It is the primary role of teachers to pass knowledge and information the students.

Traditional education is defined as teacher centered delivery of instruction to students who are the receivers of information. Traditional schools generally stress basic educational practices and expect mastery of academic learning in the core subjects of math, reading, writing, science and social studies.

The traditional model of classroom education is what's familiar to most. Despite the criticism this model of the classroom headed by one teacher within a school community has specific advantages that explain the reasons for its widespread appeal. Most children benefit from and thrive in this form of education.

Public schools generally follow this educational model, although charter schools offer a more flexible educational approach. Other alternatives to the traditional school include independent schools that operate outside the school jurisdiction, religious schools, home school and online learning. Since many factors come into play when choosing a school, it is advised to look not only at the educational program, but also at social atmosphere and availability of support services. Traditional schools are most common nationwide and can offer quality instruction along with the benefits of federal and state mandated regulations and laws.

Traditional schools receive funding from the state and are legally entrusted to provide equal educational opportunities for all students. The counseling, special education, speech therapy and other support services are available for students. These services, should be provided by the district at no cost to the child, making this a tremendous cost advantage for some families. Independent schools generally do not provide these kinds of supports along with the cost of tuition, and outside professional support can be an expensive consideration for special needs children.
