Answer #1

salpingolysis means a surgical procedure to remove adhesions in the fallopian tube. these adhesions are present somewhere along the fallopian tubes when there is blockage due to scar tissue. jean's gynecologist is trying to perform this procedure to clear scar tissues from the fallopian tubes and that will help jean to become pregnant more easily and safely.

if the fallopian tube gets blocked then the ovum or egg cell will never be able to travel down and can lead to dangerous conditions like ectopic pregnancy.
