This is given as per km of length and per nm of spectral line width.

L = 1 km

For the LED,

Δλ1/2 100nm

so, Material dispersion effect per km is-

\Delta \tau _{1/2}\approx L\left |D _{m} \right |\Delta \lambda _{1/2}

AT(1km) (22pskm nm-1)(100nm)- 2200ps 2.2ns

For the laser,

1/22nm

so, Material dispersion effect per km is-

\Delta \tau _{1/2}\approx L\left |D _{m} \right |\Delta \lambda _{1/2}

AT/(1km) (22pskmnm ( 0.044ns (2nm)-44ps
