From the given info,

The ordered dose is 5 mcg / kg / min
Here the patient weight is 142 pounds, that is 64 kg.

The available amount is 100 mg in 40 ml of NS,
So the 1 ml contain= 100 / 40
= 2.5 mg
Need to be administered at 5 mcg, it means 0.005 mg / kg
So for 64 kg, it would be 64 x 0.005 = 0.32 mg / min.
In order to provide it for 1 hour, it should be, 0.32 x 60 = 19.2 mg / hr

here 1 ml contain 2.5 mg,
then 19.2 mg would be in, 19.2 / 2.5 = 7.68 ml

So the infusion of this drug would be in the range of 8 ml / hr
