sodium lactate (C3H5NaO3—m.w. 112)

Sterile sodium lactate solution is available commercially as a 1/6-molar solution of sodium lactate in water for 112gm/1mol so 1/6th of that would be 18.67gm in 1L of solution.

Now, 112gm/1mEq or 112mg/1mEq

Want formula = Convert the 18.67gm into mg use

XmEq = 166.7mEq/L

milliequivalents of sodium lactate = 166.7mEq/L
