-It is very important that people should have an access to services that are available to them in their community that might assist clients. Sometimes there are ongoing schemes and services which are running but people are not aware of them, either because of lack of information or half info, or lack of awareness, while giving referrals, it is very important to be aware of the specific services
because it helps out the clients with needs, so that they can have access to all the provisions and facilities which basically leads to productivity.

-The five specialist services in Melbourne which are delivered, operated, funded by the Australian govt , state and territory govt. and private and non government organisations.    
1. Medicare— is provided to all the citizens. it is financed by medicare levy. it provides all the health services.

2. The pharmaceutical benefits scheme— provides subsidized medications to the patients A national Immunisation program schedule that provides
Immunisations free of charge.

3. The therapeutic goods administration. Is the one which provides medicines and medical devices in Australia.

4. The Australian institute of health and welfare - is Australia's national agency for health and welfare stats and information.

5. NGO's like The Australian red cross blood service Collects blood donations and  provides them to Australian health care provider.
