Accounting Information System - Accounting information system is used by business to collect, store, manage, retrieve its financial data, which is used by accountant, consultant, business analysts, etc

Risk involved in accounting information systems or threats to accounting information systems.

1.) Natural and political Disaster - Destruction due to natural and political disaster are faced by a company. Disaster are natural no one can control over it. Disasters may be like earthquake, storm , flood etc

Disasters cant be predicted by anyone and can completely destroys the accounting system .

2.) Software Error - Error in software and malfunction of equipment. This can be said second threat to accounting system. It can involve software errors , hardware hurdles, operating system failure, electric interference and error in data transmission .

3). Accidental Actions -

Accidental
actions A third threat to companies is unintentional actions,
such as errors or deletions due to ignorance or accident. This
usually happens due to human error, failure to follow
established procedures, and personnel who are not
supervised or trained properly. Users often lose or misplace
data, and accidentally delete or change files, data and
programs.

4.) Computer Crime - Accidental Actions (computer crime) The fourth threat facing the company is intentional action, which is usually referred to as computer crime. This threat is in the form of sabotage, the purpose of which is to destroy the system or some of its components.Computer fraud is another type of computer crime, with the aim of stealing valuable objects such as money, data, or
computer time / services.

5.) Employee Behaviour - These can be said as political threats . Sometimes an employee when he doesn't get proper working atmosphere or he doesn't get his need satisfied. He starts working against the organisation that very harmful for the organisation. Thus it us necessary to maintain the human assets of the company to peace full running.
