2. Make a slideshow presentation to present the pictures and text you want in each gallery:
   • Have one slide for each gallery (a total of 6 slides):
     • four that show how the river is used by humans;
     • one that shows how the river has affected civilization, settlement, or exploration;
     • and one that shows a collection of interesting facts about the river.
   • Put the pictures in the main part of the slide.
   • In the Notes section beneath each slide, write text to describe the human need you are addressing and how the river provides or fulfills that need. Be sure to give examples and describe each one so that museum visitors understand how the river affects human civilization. Do not just say, "People use rivers for food." Give examples of foods we get from rivers, talk about how we get that food and how people use it, etc.

For the assignment here, I am choosing Nile river of Egypt. Though I live in India and there is no river that represents my region, I am choosing Nile here.

It is a river that flows south to north in Africa (northern) and is the longest river in the world. It's water are shared by various countries called Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt etc. It makes bird foot delta and finally falls inta Mediterranean sea. Its earlier originatingvers are white nile and blue Nile that rises in the Central Africa. Nile river has very interesting history of civilization And shares lots of facts with it. IMPORTANT IN THE ANCIENT PERIOD At that time Nile used to get flooded during rainy season and the water would come out of the levees that used to make fertile regions along it. This flooded soil (Alluvial soil) was one of the reason for rich agriculture here. And thus people here were mostly engaged in farming (cotton, Barley etc) It was due to better agricultural production and fulfilment of basic needs, that these people could think of development beyond it. They were the first to develop dam and irrigation techniques. But humidity was also more here.
