Suspected abuse or maltreatment in situation should be reported to guardian or caretakers..But in professional role when they are off-duty is not mandated to report that abuse..The mandated reporter's legal responsibility to report suspected child abuse or maltreatment cease when the mandated reporter stops practicing their profession.. Anyone can report any suspected abuse at any time when they are in on- duty..
