Answer #1

4. The duration of the action potential in cardiac muscle is 200-409 msec to aid in pumping of blood

The action potential duration of skeletal muscle is 2-4 msec

There is no difference in the duration of polarization and polarization between both

5. Summation happens when the skeletal muscle gets activated before it relaxes leading to greater force of contraction this because more Ca gets released and more sarcomeres are shortened

Tetanus is when the frequency of stimulation is so high that the relaxation phase is completely abolished this causes release of all the calcium and shortening of a the sarcomeres leading to sustained contraction
