For Biochem, could you please give some main ideas on Nucleic Acids? Thanks!
Nucleic acids are the small biomolecules or biopolymers . Nucleic acid is of two types in all living systems i.e. DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (ribonucleic acid). DNA is genetic material in organisms except some viruses and RNA is genetic material in riboviruses , in others RNA functions as a messenger carrying genetic information Nucleic acid is composed of individual acid units termed nucleotides. In nucleic acids each repeating unit i.e. nucleotide(monomer) comprises three units linked together (a phosphate group, a 5-carbon sugar, and one of the four bases)
There are two types of nitrogenous bases:-
Purines :- e.g Adenine (A) and Guanine (G)
Pyrimidines:- e.g Cytosine (C) ,Thymine (T) and Uracil (U) . Thymine is present in DNA and uracil is present in RNA whereas cytosine is common in both.
Nucleic acid is the most important of all biomolecules. These are found in abundance in all living organisms where they function to create and encode and then store information of every living cell The encoded information is contained and conveyed via the nucleic acid sequence into the next generation of each living organism.
The specific sequencing in DNA of these nucleobase pair enables
storing and transmitting coded instructions as genes.
In RNA, base-pair sequencing provides for manufacturing new
proteins that determine the parts and most chemical processes of
all living forms

For Biochem, Could you please give a little review on Carbohydrates, Lipids, and Proteins? Thanks!
please help me to answer this biochem question and ill be sure to give you a thumbs up! the question regards the following four macromolecules: a) carbohydrates b) proteins c) lipids and d) nucleic acids for each of the macromolecules mentioned the i) monomer(s) ii) functional groups (list two) iii) linkage type and iv) the primary function for this macromolecule need to be identified.
How might you propose to fabricate Aluminum foil? Please give me ideas thanks
Could you please help me some ideas to make an argument outline about "Whether ketogenic diets pose a health risk". In a brief thesis paragraph, state the claim you will be making in your paper. Provide an outline for your paper including at least 3 main points that you will use to support your claim. The claim you are making in (2) is your conclusion. Write the supporting points in the form of premises for that conclusion
In studying a particular biomolecule (a protein, nucleic acid, carbohydrate, or lipid) in the laboratory, the biochemist first needs to separate it from other biomolecules in the sample (that is, it needs to be purified). Specific purification techniques are described later in the text. However, by looking at the monomeric subunits and functional groups of a biomolecule, you should have some ideas about the characteristics of the molecule that would allow you to separate it from other molecules. Look for...
Please help me give some ideas about this: What aspects of business practice that are common in the US may have to change to be successful in a foreign market?
Hello! Please help me, what constitutes the backbone of a nucleic acid? Thanks
If you could please explain and give detailed on how you got this answer thanks. What would be the final Cu^+ concentration in a solution that is originally 0.10 M in both Cu^+ and Pb^2+, such that the minimum I^- concentration is present to just precipitate both Cut and Pbl2? KsP (Cul) = 5.1 Times 10^-12 and KsP (Pbl2) = 1.4 Times 10^-8
Could you please give the specific reasons and explanations? Not just the right answer, thanks a lot. Does the figure above shows a deadlock? Processes are denoted by P and resources by R. P2 P1 R3 P3 O None Yes, and P1 and P2 are in it O Maybe O Yes, and P1, P2 and P3 are in it
Could you please give an example of a Mealy and a Moore Model and please explain how each model works. Thanks in advanced.
