A coordination of benefit provision can be availed if an individual has availed more than one healthcare policy. It is a provision to determine the primary insurer who will be responsibility for payment and in the ratio in which the other insurers will share the balance.

If an individual is covered by more than one plan, the plan that is determined as the primary insurer pays first.
