Cognitive stimulation offers general stimulation for thinking .concentration and memory.it is a programme of themed activities ,carried out over several weeks in small groups.it is usually conducted for people suffering from early stages of dementia.Cognitive training is conducted psychiatrists ,psychologists,speech therapists to help improve an individuals ability to function after a brain injury.it is also used in schools to identify and help children struggling with learning difficulties.The main goals of cognitive training is to improve memory,attention,perception,reasoning,planning,judgement,general learning and emotional stability.
