Answer #1

1)

Given:

Q = 27.1 J

m = 11.3 g

C = 0.134 J/g.oC

Ti = 21.9 oC

use:

Q = m*C*(Tf-Ti)

27.1 = 11.3*0.134*(Tf-21.9)

Tf -21.9 = 17.9 oC

Tf = 39.8 oC

Answer: 39.8 oC
