Note: the answer to the part a) should be 55. may be other part answers are wrong that why it is showing it wrong. please correct others and then check.

a) Mean without calculation = 55

b) Standard deviation without calculation = 5

c)

∑x = 878

∑x² = 48566

n = 16

Mean , x̅ = Ʃx/n = 878/16 = 54.875 = 54.9

Standard deviation, s = √[(Ʃx² - (Ʃx)²/n)/(n-1)] = √[(48566-(878)²/16)/(16-1)] = 5.0712 = 5.1
