Answer: According to the case, George is suffering from renal failure. The diagnosis for him includes blood test to check the level of waste products, such as creatinine and urea, in blood. Urine test as well as an ultrasound scan.

People with kidney disease may have worsening high blood pressure. Medications to decrease blood pressure can be given such as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers to preserve kidney function. Medication for swelling can be given as fluid retained in the body causes swelling in legs, commonly known as edema. Dialysis can be done which artificially removes waste products and extra fluid from blood.
