1. Global warming and water scarcity are the two most pressing environmental issues today. Increase in minimum global temperature of earth due to emission of green house gases has led to drastic environmental effects on the earth. It has led to climate change which causes floods, droughts, melting of glaciers, etc.
Due to climate change and as a result changes in environmental cycles of seasons, there is scarcity of rain in some areas and some areas are facing serious floods. Unchecked use of groundwater resources has lead to depletion of water from groundwater resources.
