Answer #1

The given two equations are an example of acid-base reactions,

Two mole of acetic acid (weak acid) reacts with one mole of calcium hydroxide (strong base) to form one mole calcium acetate and two moles water.

2 HC2H3O2(aq)   +   Ca(OH)2(aq)    ------------->   Ca(C2H3O2)2    +      2 H2O (l)

One mole sulfuric acid (strong acid) reacts with one mole of barium sulfate (strong base) to form one mole barium sulfate and two moles water.

H2SO4 (aq)    +    Ba(OH)2(aq)     ---------------->       BaSO4 (s)   +       2 H2O (l)
