1. 30 meq of KCL is prescribed because she has not had any intake for two days. potassium is important element of intracellular fluid due to zero intake and severe dehydration, the patient may having hypokalemia. So, injection KCL is advice.

2. Sodium and chloride are the principal minerals of extracellular fluid. The concentration of sodium in the extracellular fluid is around 142 meq/L and the concentration of chloride is around 116meq/L

3. Vitamin C is likely to depleted. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, that may be depleted in Georgia body because of dehydration.

4. The pharmacist should thoroughly mixed the 30 meq of KCL in a litter bag of D5NS and run at 125 ml/hr. Because we can not give it as IV push, it will lead to cardiac arrest and if we add KCL after started then it may not be mixed properly. So, it's better you should through mix it and start.

5. Redness and heat around the iv site is the only option related to iv infusion, other options do not have any link with iv infusion. Redness and heat around the iv site is a warning sign for phlebitis, in this case, we have to resite the cannula.
