Answer #1

Perspective drawing is a technique used by engineers, architects and other professionals dealing with product design to give a 3d feeling to an object using 2d drawing.

Perspective drawing is a drawing in which objects or dimensions appear smaller which are far away from viewer's eyes than those which are near to the viewer's eyes.

There is a vanishing point where all the lines of the perspective drawing intersect

Vanlshing Peimt A ine of 1eieashere dimension BB is smaller than dimension AA (of regular cube) because dimension BB is away from the viewer. The lines are drawn on the basis of vanishing point. This is the one point perspective drawing of the cube because there is only one vanishing point.

The two point perspective drawing of a building is as shown below.

A Vanishifoint Peapoctuie drauy efa utding Aulding Vauithipg Point

Here too the dimension BB is smaller as it is away from the viewer. There are two vanishing points . So the dimensions will diminish in two directions(leftwards and rightwards) .

Perspective drawing is of having great importance in architecture because it shows how the object will appear from the viewer's point of view before it is physically made.
