Standard enthalpy of formation of Aluminium sulfide = -724 KJ/mol

Number of moles of AlS3 formed = heat involved in reaction / Standard heat of formation = 1137 / 724 = 1.57 moles

Moles of S consumed = 3 * moles of AlS3 formed = 3 * 1.57 = 4.71 moles
