Answer #1

The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient measures of strength of the linear relationship between two interval or numeric variables or continuous value s.

chi-square coefficient is primarily used with one or two categorical variables. it is a measure of difference between observed and expected scores.it is used to test how likely it is that an observed distribution is due to chance. It is also called a "goodness of fit" statistic .in case of independent variable s it measures how well the observed distribution of data fits with the distribution that is expected.

The Spearman correlation coefficient is based on the ranked values for each variable rather than the raw data. Spearman correlation is often used to evaluate relationships involving ordinal variables. it is a non-parametric test that is used to measure the degree of association between two variables, same as the Pearson correlation, but it is used on data from an ordinal scale.
