Answer #1

They could succeed, but with a probability. For example, a person putting optimistic picture can claim it to happen with probability of .5 and person putting pessimistic picture of economy can claim it to happen with probability of .5. Finally, a result will come where a mediocre economy will take place. Here, both of the person are neither getting a failure nor success, rather they have claimed the economic outlook with probability. It makes them succeed in a limited way.

Understanding of the limitations of the data, helps us know its actual behavior, lagging or leading nature of the impact made by the data and its dependencies upon other qualitative factors. On the basis of detailed understanding, the claims made by these people can be counter questioned and verified. It will make these people refrain from making exaggereted claims. Further, there are causal relationship between different macroeconomic indicators. It tells the truth and it can be verified with what the claims made by these people. So, it saves us from these misleading people.

No economic disaster, but we are stuck in low gear Prime Minister Scott Morrison's claim that this week's soft economic growth figures were "no surprise" is itself a bit, well, surprising. If the government had such a strong inkling the Australian economy would endure a weak June quarter, why did it only really start softening up the public this week, in the days leading up to the national accounts? Why didn't the April budget build more of this anticipated softness...

As you've read or learned through other marketing classes, there are different methods used in advertising to drive awareness or influence behavior - humor, fear, sex, community, nostalgia, and creating an emotional connection.  There are several companies that do it very well, but also some that do a really bad job.   For example, when Dos Equis came up with the idea for the most interesting man alive, they almost passed on the chosen actor to go with somebody younger. We do not appreciate people making assumptions about who we are, particularly based on our appearance. This is part of what is so pernicious about racism: It stems from a social construction of race, a system of categorizing and generalizing about people based on physical characteristics and the alleged deeper meanings. We consider this concept in greater detail...
