Soluble fiber helps to reduce body cholesterol. It reduces the low density lipoprotein ( LDL), i.e, bad cholesterol. How because this soluble fiber decreases the absorption of cholesterol to blood stream.

Eg:- oat meal and oat bran. It contains soluble fiber
