Global Colorism is a global prejudice.It is a discrimination based on skin color within a certain race and treatment of individuals as inferior.In Americas Colorism was the most important factor responsible for the treatment of Africans as slaves. Colorism has no base in politics yet it is often linked to it . When India became a colony of British,it was politically suppressed due to the difference in skin color,the British who were fair coloured termed themselves as superior and ruled the black coloured Indians for years treating them as inferior.
