If you are writing a paper on global colorism (in countries is the United States, Jamaica and India) how would you relate it to politics ? Could you answer the question "Are there laws in colorism?" . The answer should be a yes or no question and both sides should be explained as if you are writing an argumentative esssay. Global Colorism is a global prejudice.It is a discrimination based on skin color within a certain race and treatment of individuals as inferior.In Americas Colorism was the most important factor responsible for the treatment of Africans as slaves. Colorism has no base in politics yet it is often linked to it . When India became a colony of British,it was politically suppressed due to the difference in skin color,the British who were fair coloured termed themselves as superior and ruled the black coloured Indians for years treating them as inferior. There are no laws in Colorism as it is highly condemned as per the constitution of most of the countries.Yet it is practiced based on personal selection and likeness of the fair skin .
