The van der waal equation is given by: (P + an2/V2) * (V - nb) = nRT

Using the given values, (P + 20.4 * 0.001262 / 24.72) * (24.7 - 0.00126 * 0.1383) = 0.00126 * 0.0821 * 293.1

(P + 5.31 * 10-8) * (24.6998) = 0.0303

P = 1.227 * 10-3 atm = 1.227 * 10-3 * 760 torr = 0.932 torr

2. Kinetic energy = 1/2 * mass * velocity2 = 1/2 * 18 * 8.022 = 578.88 J
