The number of non-western region immigrants is increasing in Canada over the last few years. The number of immigrants increased in 2018 was 286,000. Most of them were from the non-western region. It is expected that this number will be 334,000 by the end of 2020. This growing number of immigrants is challenging the socio-economic, financial and employment growth of Canada. 30.9% of the overall population in Canada is immigrant. However, the rest of the population are from Asia, Africa, and middle-east nations. Issues created by non-western immigrants in Canada are as follows:

• It is creating an employment issue for normal Canadians because of the increase in the immigrant workforce.
• The number of criminal activities is increasing in Canada with the increase in the number of immigrant population
• Increase in immigrant population is creating communication issues in workplaces as most of the immigrants are from diversified linguistic background.

The immigrant workforce faces severe employment issue in Canada presently due to lack of working experience in Canada. The no-Canadian working experience is creating significant employment barrier for immigrants’ employers reject an immigrant candidate for not having working experience in Canada. However, the Canadian government has changed its employment policy which is welcoming for immigrants to work in different organizations in Canada freely.
