Is three Capsim rounds, one practice and two competition. Enough to develop a good understanding of business simulation? Would you prefer 3 competitive rounds?

What would you change in the simulation to make it more relevant to today’s business environment?

What advice do you have for other teams to help insure high level performance?

Capsim rounds refers to the situation where simulations are provided to the learners through online mode only. The only technology used will be internet and no physical face to face simulation will be provided.

According to me one practice and two competition capsim rounds will prove to be sufficient for providing simulation about business world and information about what business issues can crop up in future. I would not prefer three competitive rounds as they would not give the learner enough time to groom up with things and understand them before he actually starts with simulation.

But in order to make simulation more relevant to the present changing environment, I would like to add more of physical interaction with supervisors and live experiments on tools and techniques. Giving online simulation only would not serve the purpose as the learner will not be acquainted with the real world scenario and how things need to be handled in reality.   

Also in order to ensure high level of performance by the team members, it becomes very important to keep a check on the employees working and giving immediate feedback in case of defaults, also involving all team members in decision making will increase motivation level, engagement, determination of employees, thus resulting into better performance levels.
