It determines the next step to be taken based on a predefined scaling policy. Finally, depending on the cloud service implementation's eligibility for additional scaling, the automated scaling listener triggers the scaling process. It sends a signal to the resource replication mechanism. Once additional resources are added or scaled, it resumes monitoring, detracting, and adding IT resources, as required.
