Answer - Locus of control tells that people have control over the outcomes of the events in their life. People think that they control positive or negative results of their actions . There are two types of locus of control - external locus of control and internal locus of control. In external locus of control people believe that events in their life occur due to external factors beyond their control .For example - In rash driving a person mets with an accident .So if he has external locus of control then he will never blame himself instead he will blame the other person or bad weather etc for the accident . Internal locus of control means a person thinks that events in his life occur due to the result of his own action . For example if a student gets good marks and if he has internal locus of control then he will praise himself and his abilities only in getting good marks , nothing else .
