total dividend received = (300*$1.23) + (500*0.47) + (300*0.42)

=>730.

total ending value = (300*$86.07) + (500*53.81) + (800*24.69)+(300*39.22)

=>84,244.

total dollar return = total ending value - total amount invested + total dividend received

=>84,244-84,104 +730

=>870.

percentage return = 870 / 84,104 *100

=>1.03%.
