Beginning portfoilo value = Johnson Controls stock cost + Medtronic cost + Direct TV + Qualcomm

= (600*74.21)+(500*58.87)+(900*26.24)+(600*44.38)

=$124085

Return from porfolio in dollar = [600*(86.57 - 74.21 + 1.43)]+[500*(54.81 - 58.87 + 0.67)]+[900*(25.69 - 26.24)]+[600*(40.22 - 44.38 + 0.52)]

= 600*13.99 + 500*(-3.99) + 900*(-0.55) + 600*(-3.64)

=$4020

Percentage return= $4020 / $124085 = 0.03239 = 3.24%
