The factors that I would consider in evaluating the wisdom of supporting his request include an evaluation is benefits vs risk; is launching the new technology economically viable, i.e. what is the cost.

What is the new skill set required to launch the technology?

How long will it take to launch the new technology?

Do we have a target population of patients who are going to be diverted towards us due to this technology?

What will be the estimated monitory profit generated by launching this new technology?

Are all the stakeholder's will to launch the new technology?

What are the barriers to launching such a technology?
